Non-Medical Helper (NMH) Rates

Academic Year 2026/27
(1 September 2026 - 31 August 2027)

These rates apply to support funded through Disabled Students' Allowance (DSA).

As a registered DfE Non-Medical Helper (NMH) provider, Mentorium Minds publishes the current hourly rates for Specialist Mentor (Autism Spectrum Conditions) support in line with Student Finance England guidance. For the Academic Year 2026/2027 this is £50/hour (no VAT).

Mentorium Minds is not currently VAT registered. VAT will not be charged unless registration becomes legally required.

Please note: Students receiving DSA-funded Specialist Mentoring do not pay these fees themselves. Where support has been approved through your DSA Needs Assessment, payment is made directly through the DSA funding process.
