Private Mentoring

Flexible one-to-one mentoring for anyone who wants personalised support, whether or not they receive funded support.

Practical, person-centred mentoring tailored to your goals, helping you build confidence, develop strategies and thrive in education, work and beyond.

Already Worked With Mentorium Minds Through Disabled Students Allowance (DSA) or Access to Work (ATW)?

You don't need to start from scratch with another provider.

We can continue building on the strategies we've already developed, maintaining continuity and avoiding the need to repeatedly explain your experiences.

Who is Private Mentoring for?

Private mentoring is available for anyone whenever funded support isn't available—or whenever you'd simply prefer to self-fund.

University Students

Private mentoring may be suitable if you:

Don't qualify for or have been declined DSA.

  • Are waiting for your DSA application to be processed.

Have used all of your funded mentoring hours.

  • Are studying on a course that isn't eligible for DSA.

  • Are an international student who isn't eligible for DSA.

  • Are on a full-year paid placement where DSA is generally unavailable.

  • Simply want additional support alongside your studies.

Graduates & Career Transitions

Private mentoring may be suitable if you:

  • Have recently graduated.

  • Want support while applying for graduate jobs.

  • Need help adjusting from university to employment.

  • Want continuity after your DSA funding ends.

  • Would like support before transitioning to Access to Work.

Working Professionals

Private mentoring may be suitable if you:

  • Are waiting for Access to Work funding.

  • Have used all of your Access to Work funding.

  • Want additional support alongside Access to Work.

  • Need short-term support before funding is in place.

  • Prefer to self-fund rather than use a workplace funding scheme.

Anyone Seeking Additional Support

Private mentoring may be suitable if you:

  • Want personalised one-to-one mentoring without going through a funding application.

  • Would like practical strategies, accountability and ongoing support.

  • Want to continue working with the same mentor.

  • Are looking for support tailored to your individual goals and circumstances.
